{SYD}Mr Sabretooths Fish & Chips run

Postby StanTheMan » Sun Dec 30, 2007 8:35 pm

Mr Sabretooth is in town lets be social.

Thursday Night 3rd Jan 2008
Northern Pylon of Habour Bride
7pm meet
7.30 pm takeoff

Fish & chips at Balmoral Beach

I'd prefer the drive though Mc Carres Creek rd then end up at Mona Vale Pub.
Or We can just do the coffee at Dee Why if it means more people turn up

Lets Show Meeester Sabretooth some hospitality.

Sooooo.....lets rock & roll

It is The honorable Mr Sabretooth. Who is a mechanical & intellectual heavyweight here on this forum. He's also been a member since 2001 when this forum originally started. Yes you look at his profile & it might say member since 2003 or something but let me tell you he's been around since long before then. Just like Craig,99MXV, Jules, miata,UA, and a few others.
In these years Sabretooth has contributed to this forum an endless amount of knowlege and wisdom ,some of us veterans could only dream of equaling in a lifetime maybe 2 lifetimes
hence the Red carped(as you put it) is well deserved.

But the fact I couldn't organise anything for Mightyboy does not mean I or anyone disrespects him. Unfortunately another Heayweight from Melbourne is here this week as well. I wanted to organise a run but it just proved a little......complicated. Both for myself and him.

sometimes timing sux. Unfortunatley.....for all of us. :(

Mightyboy also chose the wrong time to be in town - too complicated organising stuff that close to Christmas. Another couple of days and he would have been invited to Chez Bigdog, as some other GC locals were, to sample some 'Southern' hospitality.

And that Melbourne dude's not that heavy Stan :P

Ouch! I just happened to catch up with Mightyboy on Friday night. We didn't have time to drive anywhere but at least I tried to make his stay a bit better.

This run sounds like fun, but its so far away! How long does it take? Have work the next day.
