Tein Flex
Hey guys,
Does anyone know of a good place to get a set of Tein Flex? Im looking at ordering at set over from USA, or even picking up a second hand set if anyone is selling.
Any help is very appreciated.
Cheers
Ryan

Hey Ryan. Good choice. I believe Fulcrum suspension in Qld are the Aussie agents. I believe they worked with the factory to customise the spring rates for the Aussie roads. Ted from this forum, used his car as a mule for the development work. Not sure what Fulcrum sell them for, but if the price differece is not too much I would suggest going for the local support.

Ahh yeah Emilio from 949 racing is a pretty good bloke to deal with..
The best price I have been able to find soo far are from these blokes,
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150105765690&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:MOTORS:1123
$1,188.99us+ $175us shipping to Aus..
Works out to be 1,582.75 AUD delivered.. Not a bad price for Flex.

www.perfectrun.com.au is also worth a look, as is www.greenline.jp and other Japanese importers, although the yen is a bit stronger compared the the US$ than it was 6 months ago. It may end up being cheaper to get them from the States.
Not sure if the US and Japanese versions have different valving; the spring rates (7/6) are the same.

I actually meant between the US and Japanese versions, not Aussie version.

I have been getting quotes from around Melbourne, they are all hovering around $1900-$2000..I was even quoted $2650 from GT Suspension here in Melbourne..
Im going to order mine from the guys in USA, they are $1580 delivered, and the seller is going to list them as $600us all up on the reciepts, and customs paperwork.. Soo ill hopefully dodge some tax on them..
Cheers

Why do you people try and save $200, when if buy them through the Aussie supplier, you get warranty, and support if you need it. And more importantly, all the bits
Mine cost me just under $1800, with Club discount.
Does not make any sense to me to be a cheap skate on something as important as suspension
Thumbs up for Fulcrum Suspension, thumbs down to you tight ars*s
