Excuse my ignorance, but how many badges do you need to buy to get a price of $16 each?

Some years ago, my company was looking into getting similar badges done up, although a bit smaller, but with 4 colours, and they were only going to charge us around 25cents each for a quantity of about 5,000 pieces.

Break even for me is going to be 25 items.

I'm sure i could get the price lower if i were to place an order for 5,000 items though i'm not 100% sure there is a market for 5,000 clubman badges

Hopefully the sample will arrive tomorrow so i'll be able to seek other peoples opinions at Phillip Island on Sunday.

For a quantity that small, considering the set-up time and all the rest, it sounds like a very reasonable price Andrew.

Many tks Andrew - you shouldn't have to bear any cost, so i've increased my order, & added possibility of green_comet buying two as per his post near bottom of page 6 - total currently 23/ 24

Thanks mate 8)

Just collected the prototype and it looks great. Only one slight error but that is easily fixable, will be seeking final approval tomorrow at Phillip island. Fingers crossed that there is a clubman with badge for me to inspect and compare the two.

Ok here goes with the final comparison of the original and my remake.

I had a look at two Mazda OEM clubman badges today at Philip Island, Greg Cleavers -

and Randy's -
Image

As you can see they are two different stickers. Since Greg's was one of the first clubman cars has a different sticker to the rest of them we'll exclude that one.

There are a couple of differences between the the original and my versions of the stickers:
- The text in the original has some dimension to it and in mine it is flat.
- The centre of the C has silver in it, this will be removed from the final production version.
- There is also some very minor differences in the text and underline but nothing the really stands out.

Here is a pic of Randy's original and my replica -

I will be giving the go ahead for production of these this week and as i'll be interstate for the Christmas New Year break i'd expect to be taking delivery for the final product mid January and distribution some time very shortly after that.

Here's the list as it currently stands and at this stage i'm still accepting additional orders -

1. Andrew
2. Tezzax5 x2
3. Blue94t x2
4. Alfadog
5. green_comet x2
6. RaYmO
7. tbro x 2 please
8. Mokesta x 2 please (for when MX5 Plus finishes my new car!)
9. Daniel (silverback2002) X 2
10. Mr_Q (just adding myself back on)
11. Adam_NAclubman x3
12. 93_Clubman x3
13. mxv93c

15. bitlo x2
