I'm still down with the FM butterfly GB. Just let us know the details :)

Kal: Looking good there. Nothing personal, but the FM stuff has been tried and tested, so I'm gonna go with those. But hopefully if you decide to go into production with your set of rails, you'll get plenty of business from those of us that haven't gone the FM option yet :)

does anyone know if these will put you into a non-production category in racing?
would chassis stiffening put you in the improved production, or the modified?

I used 1.6mm stainless. It is a very high grade stainless, they use it in all sterile factories like chickadee chicken etc. I used to be a fabricator so my mx5 has alot of stainless stuff on it :P

Sorry guys for the late reply, actually received the email on Tuesday.

Turns out that the sale already ended, and after calculating postage (without tariffs, taxes etc.) it would have rounded up to $570 if we were to get five.

i think i may have to drop out of this group buy if it still goes ahead (but i'll still be more than happy to arrange the gb).. need the funds to pay off some damage on my car.. left the 5 in the car park and some #$%&* bumped it and drove off whilst i left it there.. gave me a nice big scratch on the front bar  :x :(

So the sale from FM is over, but maybe we can still get the sale price because we're buying 5 (well, 4 maybe, but surely someone else will want in)?

I remember Sliq saying at the start that they won't drop the price any further, but if there's still enough people wanting in, they might be willing to do the sale price anyway.

I would send FM the URL to this thread and ask em Marcus. I' ve heard they are very professional to deal with. All you can do is ask :)
