I had some in my Liberty RS turbo about 5 years ago, it was probably the spring rates but they only lasted a fortnight before I took them out due to my body copping a severe thashing every time I hit a bump.

Thanks Mossy. Most coilovers on eBay don't state spring rates, so you just confirmed my fears that it may be just the same, or only a little stiffer, than stock rates.
Oh well .... off the watchlist it goes ... and money stays in my pocket :P

Yes, most straight-from-Japan suspension is usually very stiff.

I found another set with spring rates of 10kg/cm front and 8 rear! Ouchie!

i have had these on my FD for 7 years out of 8 (ownership) since its a weekend car i wouldnt have it any other way but every day no way too harsh
