The S2000 diff centre is the same as the 1.8 MX5 except that it has slightly larger diameter axles which are the same as the ones fitted standard to the SE. These larger axles do not fit the standard 1.8 diff. Can't remember about the hubs - might fit but I'd have to check them again.
If anyone is interested in Heavy Duty 1.8 axles, Daniel from Mania is looking at getting some made. PM me if you are seriously interested.

Billet axles are fairly easy to source to any spec you require.
Cheap they are not (i'm sure Lee can back me up on that).
Also interested to know if the mania car that is breaking axles is running a spool?
If Daniels contact fails I know a place that will make them for you (they are in the Newcastle area), but you'd need to be pretty serious for the $$$

Maybe this only applies to drag racing but when I first got my billet axles made it just moved the breakage problem to the stub axle that holds the hub on.
I ened up getting that made billet too but it didnt help and I have about 3 sets of those at home that are twisted and broken.
