Gimme some lip...
Ok not lip in the verbal sense. But more so advice on how to install one.
I recently got my hands on a new lip and on retro fitting I noticed it's not a simple bolt on procedure as the lip doesn't have any holes drilled in. Now as much as I don't mine drilling holes into the lip. Does this mean I'll have to drill holes into the factory front spoiler?
Here's a few pics of the lip I'm talking about just sitting on my rig.
Quality is kinda poor as I took these on my pda...lost my camera cable again.
Any idea on how to fit it would be great.

how does your custom diy air kit help cool your radiator??????
seriously, that bit looks like it's not meant to be there. it looks like it's just there to make manufacturing easier, and should be removed before fitting. many aftermarket lips have mould marks / tabs that need to be cleaned up.
i think it will actually look heaps better without it, and be more effective, but thats just me i guess. it's your car so do what you think is best.

So you are the one that got that on E-bay
When fitting a similar style vary garage nose I had to drill holes in the original nose. I clamped the spoler in place and then using the holes in the spoiler as a guide I did the drilling. Did the spoiler come with the necessary nuts/bolts?

Yep E-bay. Grabbed it at the last moment. Almost forgot about it. I was busy outside and I like \"F**K that lip!\". Jumped on and had like 45 sec's left, I was surprised nobody else bidded for the price.
But no nuts & bolts
Also I don't see how this would really restrict air, the over hang inside the spoiler sits pretty flush.

well the pic is rather blurry, so maybe it's my imagination, but it looks like there is a peice of plastic at the back of the lip, sitting up vertically and blocking half the mouth ? ? ? ?

Aaargh then I certainly would be cutting it. Yeah my PDA takes crappy pics, but it's better than my phones camera and I can't seem to find my digi cams cable to upload better pics to my pc.
But here's another pic from the e-bay one. The centre bit goes straight back sitting flush on the mouth.

I think its just how the photo is taken
FWIW
double sided tape everywhere
and then screws in the wheel arch
doublesided tape wont let go because whole lip would have to go forward and screws into wheel arch stop it going forward

I was thinking of bidding. The guys selling it lives a couple of suburbs from me, so I asked if I could have a look at it, or if he could supply more photos. He told me it was stored in Mitcham and he would not be able to let me see it or supply more photos until after the auction was over, so I chose not to bid.
