BD rollbar, Soft top, hardtop and harnesses, all at once???

Postby Alex » Thu Nov 29, 2007 6:25 am

I'm having trouble with getting the softtop to go down all the way now that I have the anchors for harnesses attached to the BD. The anchor loops prevent the glass window from getting low enough for the softtop to go down all the way.

can the hardtop be put on without the softtop all the way down? because I don't think the latches are low enough for the hardtop to fit because of the small latch resting part at the back.

any other solutions? also any suggestions on what to put over the harness anchors so they don't damage the soft top glass and demister??

I just took the anchors off when I changed to a glass window soft top. I removed the back fasteners on the harness and looped the belts around the flat base bar of the BD bar instead.

It means I can feel at ease about not breaking my window when racing with the top down.
