Yeah sorry, work has been realy flat out and the badge has been delayed, should have something (the artwork) to show everyone in the next day or so.

Once i get the artwork approved by the masses i'll send it off and see if i can get a sample badge produced.

Ok here goes with the artwork.

Supplied image from Terry -

Clubman artwork -

(yes it is crappy, i have the EPS to make the stickers from)

I think the top right hand side of the flag needs rounding off, hard to see in the original image a second pic from someone would help a lot if this is the case, along with the removal of the black in the centre of the C.

This should print the correct size when printed at 100%.

Can some one (or a couple) of people print it and compare it to an original :?:

Once I have the ok i'll sent it to the printer and see if we can get a prototype made, i should have some pricings by then also.

Cheers,

Andrew

Even an OCD guy like me wouldn't be able to tell the difference up close letalone following from 6m away

The only thing I notice is that... the dip between the first down and upstroke on the \"n\" isn't as deep on the real one

Great work andrew!

types a bit thick, boxes on the flag too far apart, a few curves not totally replicated but hey - (I'm a designer you asked)

not too shabby seeing the sample though

Is this actually legal? Dont Mazda own the copyright to the clubman logo?

Ahhh man, why be a buzz kill.....?? :P
If Mazda made enough badges then we wouldnt have to copy them, and get more made up.

Looks great Andrew,

I cant wait to see the finished product.

Yes and yes i would assume.

What is Mazda;s official word on the supply of this item :?: Its over seven years old we no longer have to stock it :?:

If i were making mega bucks from it i'm sure they would be worried, so far its actually cost me money and i doubt i'll even make a profit from the sale of the badges.

I'm also happy for Mazda to purchase the finished product from me to restock their shelves, though my price to them may be greatly over inflated ;)

I had also thought about donating the final artwork to www.brandsoftheworld.com so the whole world could benfit, still not 100% sure on that one though :?

So, has nobody had any luck finding out the company who originally made these. I assume it was not Mazda?

Great work BTW.
