Postby irwin83r » Tue Nov 27, 2007 1:59 am

looking to modify and repair my front bar..

can you get a decent match from a can for this colour? or will it require a proper 2 pak jobbie?? seems afew people are getting good results with cans but it all seems to be basic colours...( i have no idea about paint.. but am very willing to give it a go)

I think its pretty hard to do it on your car since its metallic.
I tried doing it a while ago on metallic car, its not as easy as I thought...I leave it to professional if I were you.

In my opinion its not worth while doing the front bumper with spray cans.
Yes you can get great results. But its just never as good as doing it right. Just do it properly.

Smaller panels like the mirrors.....absolutley. but not bumper bars

I don't think the colour would match and look completely different. Professionals would also flick some of the colour onto the front guards to aid the colour match.
