Would going down from 17 to 15 inch hinder the brake cooling??? Only reason that i ask is that i had tried 15's on mine and didn't like the fact that the discs were so close to the wheel rim. I thought not enough air would flow around the discs.....or was i just being paranoid???

If you ask me... I'd say rim geometry and design would be the factors to affect brake cooling...
But if you did the maths... there can be quite abit of swept area to an extra two inches of radius I guess
Design a rim that DRAWS air into the rotors... now that's something to look into

no no no...
draws air out.. that way air still passes the rotor but it is being sucked from under the car not jetting up under the car... think old F1 airofoil skirt thingys

Unfortunately Work Equip are not manufacturing any 14" rims until early next year ... best to get your order in as soon as you can afford them.
I fell in love with Peter's car and have placed my order in similar specs since August but they won't be arriving till next year ...
As for getting Work Equip 03 under 5kg's ... er, dream on but they make your car a baller IMO ...

Good point... hovercraft effect for a car isn't desirable now is it...

not legal unless you can convince an engineer to certify it...
other wise your only (in NSW) aloud to go 1" wider on total track and 1" wider on total width.. (could be wrong but its something like that) ive also been told the wheel isnt aloud to protrude the wheel arch but i swear some new cars with factory tyres do now days
