 awww, sucks  (shuffles feet)
The amount of work I put into getting the NC up to scratch is stupid.

I learnt from the last few Concours’s that the most points are to be gained in areas other than the outside of the car. So I set out to clean it all up. High pressure cleaning the engine bay, door hinges, bonnet hinges and any crevasse that I could stick the gun & hose into.

Cleaning and polishing the outside took under an hour, under the bonnet and boot another hour, 15 minutes on the interior but the most time was spent on the under guards, brakes and suspension – 4 hours!!!!
I found all this orange dirt underneath on the passenger side and wondered where it came from until I remembered Wakefield last outing. The alloy suspension cleans up like chrome with a bit of steel wool. Only problem is that with a lowered car, once you drop it back down, you can’t see all the work that’s been done. And then the judges marked it down. What for I have no idea. You could have eaten your dinner of the underside it was so clean.

Well at least it’s clean from one end to the other, until the next shower of rain, when ever that will be.

Anyhow the results will be published after the Christmas Party presentation, which might just throw up some surprises.
