Only 1 pointer i can give you... Harden the F#$% UP

Well thats what i kept telling myself.... in the morning i was doing turn 1 & 2 at 120kmh. By the end of the day i was managing 140kmh & 130kmh through turn 2.

Next time your out at a track day, ask Doug if he can ride with you. He'll be able to give you some great tips. 8)

I had an awesome time, thanks guys! Need to get my tyres rotated now though! :P

My best times were 1:14 on the clubman and 1:09 on the sprint. I worked out how to take the first two turns better by the afternoon, so I am quite sure I can get my clubman times down next track day.

Coolness.
I was gonna say hi to you too, but it was such a rushed day (which was good). I hope we get as much track time for the next events.

Yes, please feel free to brag :D Cause I am really interested in the times and what mods they have done in order to get these times.
There was a VW Golf R32 (previous model) doing lazy 64 seconds around the clubman circuit.

The quickest time i know of was by Tony in the red NC LE... 63 on the sprint... very impressive and congrats Tony... he has tiens and some very sticky rubber.

I think the STI was right behind him with a 63 and Mazlot with a 64. (Dont know exact times, i left my time sheets at home... not sure if there was anyone faster, i only know the times for my group).

1red5 - this was my 3rd track day and that amount of track time seems to be the norm

I got a personal best on the clubman (72 secs) and the sprint (68 secs). I must say that the poverty special Advans on my track wheels make the run very \"interesting\" as they get hotter   . Must get better tyres when they wear out......soon I hope :) .

Tony has all the times and will post them up when he gets time to himself.

The \"run rate\" was normal - I told you that you'd get value for money 1red5  Be the first to grab Doug next time.

They were Dunlop Direzza of some description, possibly the Z1?

It was a great day you organised JBT.
Now I have someone to blame when I fork out my hard-earned green on suspension upgrades

BTW, it gave me the opportunity to use my G-tech performance meter's "Road Racer" function in gathering g-force load data.
I was pulling consistent 1.00 G's+ around turn 3 on Clubman and the last corner. 8)

I can't take any credit for the day except for the funds accounting and helping with the check-in admin at the track - Tony (quick guy with the red NC LE) is da man!

Hope to see you guys at some more things soon. :)
