Hey, I've got a problem with my daily driver (1988 Ford Laser Auto) , driving home today it started over heating, so i just pulled over and waited for it too cool, 20 mins later I started again. But when I started the temp gauge was just below halfway, a minute down the road it had made it all the way back up to the gauge limit, it was fine this morning and has been over the last week
also had a new radiator installed 2 weeks ago, and I checked it's got enough coolant.
so any idea's of what to check??
Over heating very very quickly (problem solved)

ok just had a good look at it now that it's cooled down and it seems new radiators don't work unless the lower tubing is connected
appears as though they didn't tighten up the restrictors on the hose at all when they put the new radiator in so in the hot weather today it must have expanded and slipped off, I'll try and get under there to fix it up tomorrow after exams, I can only hope there isn't any long term damage since I only paid the rego and insurance last month
