Remember guys to send your entries in before the due date.

The easiest way is to e-mail me at socialsec@mx5.com.au with the information on the entry form or print off the entry form, fill it out, scan it and attach it to your e-mail.

Final reminder for the Concours d’ Elegance and Show and Shine competitions for the NSW members.

Entry’s close tomorrow.

Currently we have over 30 MX-5s entered but strangely no NA8As.

Is it because the owners done luv them and haven’t applied a coat of polish or vacuumed them out in quite sometime :?:

Anyone have a spare passenger spot?
I just bought a NA8 (on monday!) and this would be a fantastic opportunity to immerse myself in everything MX-5!

Well the event is going to be HUGE for this Sunday’s Concours and Show & Shine.

We have 37 MX-5s (11 NA6As, 6 NB8As, 11 NB8Bs and 9 NCs) and 57 members attending but not one NA8A. Work that one out.

The weather prediction is for a fine warm day and the harbour will be at its best to go with the shiny MX-5s.

So if you want to have a good day out and have a look at all the MX-5s, you will need to catch a ferry from Circular Quay. What better way to spend a lazy Sunday than a trip on the harbour and a chat with MX-5 owners 8)

Have a look at this site for the ferry times. http://www.navy.gov.au/ranhc/where.html

Which A is the typo? :P
Looking forward to seeing some photos. Just not particularly up for the mission myself for some reason.

There is NO access for the public via the gates onto the Naval Base.
The only public access is via the ferry as stated earlier.
Cars will be on display from around 9:30 till probably 2:30 or so.

To everyone catching the train there, there's trackwork on the City Circle, so be prepared to Bus it from Central.

The weather forecast looks promising, so I'm in.
It's a shame I can't enter my NA8A! I would have been a shoe-in!

I read NA8A as NB8A. I guess that's what happens when you own one :P

An alternative to buses from central (if you hate them as much as i do) is to get the train to martin place and trek it to the quay..

Has there been a better Concours than this? :D .... absolutely superb job Phil!
The location was amazing, right on the shores of Sydney Harbour, grassy picnic area, Heritage museum, Cafe, 360 degree views of Sydney Harbour from the Observation building, Australias oldest tennis courts and the first white man graffitti (1788) This would have to be one of Sydneys best kept secrets....bugger!... let it slip :frown:
Took some photos so will post them soon
