sleepy eyes installed today...thought i would post for anyone looking at putting some on their NA6/8.

the unit that controls them is a Pivot RMHU Headlight Controller. pics are with the controller set at 35% open.

when the lights are off you can control the level they are risen 0-100% via a control knob. when the lights are on they go up the full way as per normal

The original intent was a cheap way to get some cold air under the bonnet then it just became a \"look\".
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

I did mine the dodgy way wy putting a switch in the power to the headlight motors!

It means its much more hit-and-miss to get the perfect look, but it was just soo much cheaper!

I think it looks good anyway!

yeh what okibi said...the unit only cost me $60 anyway so i thought it was a cheap way to mod the exterior anyway

Is it just me, or has anyone else thought of a device that closes and opens just one light at the push of a steering-wheel mounted button?

A \"winker\" of sorts ... or would that just make me a \"wanker\" :roll: :oops:
