A WRX STI couldn't shake NPN in a standard SP on ROAD TYRES around Queensland Raceway.

Actually, as I recall you're car didn't respond at all the to ChipTorque mods whereas mine saw a useful improvement. Then, in concert with the "$2.50 Mod" performed by Lachlan, the power went up by around 15kW IIRC.Novice1 wrote:Just out of interest how does a standard SP and a $2.50 modded SP compare to a WRX in acceleration.
Depends on the year WRX you are talking about as each was an incremental improvement over the last. Year for year, the standard SP was quicker then a WRX over the 400m (and away from the lights![]()
- not that I would do that) and about 1/10th slower then the STi.

Is there any particular reason why the pre run was done in 4th and the post run was done in 5th?
If your trying to get accurate power gain/loss figures, you would assume that the power runs would be done back to back and in the same gear.
