glen, the thread you're refering to has photo's of kula's stripped & painted interior. maybe Mark would be kind enough to post up some more photo's of his interior.
hopefully i'll be down there next week to pick up my 5, i haven't dríven it in about a month. i'm hoping to strip out & paint the interior & fit a new soft top over christmas.

Hi mate, i went ahead and did it anyhow. I dont regret it either but i had to make the sacrifice of cutting the carpet that runs over the tunnel under the stereo as it is all one peice. if the carpet ever went back in it would not be as good as it was. The door trims stayed the same and thats about it. Also i drove it with out the bootrubber as teh old one is a bit holey but it was just to damn loud under full noise plus the fact i could see the ground when i looked down was funny, So the old one went back in until i get a new one. Other than that i love it and dont regret doing it. I'm ready to hit the track now once i become a member which will be just before christmas.

hi, i havent given it a vacum yet so there is some dirt on the floor. i still have to put some Alloy checker down aswell for the feet and in general a good tidy up. But here are some pics to give you a general idea, first 2 coats went on by brush with the last being sprayed. It's far from a perfect finish quite the opposite really.
Also the Handbrake isnt back in yet.
I hope these pics arent to big but i couldnt see where to put attachments so appoligies to those still on dial up.

Looks great Glen! Just a question about the seats - how do you go with the boys in blue not having headrests? Are those braces behind the seats? I have the same seats in my historic racer - I was not impressed with the way they were built when I removed the upholstery, tubes were unpainted and rusty and the seatback was just a thin sheet of MDF board. Mine are now a fully welded bucket

Bigdog, The police have never pulled me over so i couldnt say whether they would take a liking to the seats or not. The car got RWC with these seats in.
Do yours have the Cobra Emblem stitched into the seat. There seems to be quite alot of different brands moving around currently and no doubt there will be some cheapies. I couldnt confirm if mine are cheap or not.
The mid section brace behind the seats came with the car when i bought it. It is all one section and is alloy. It bolts down to the tunnel and the floor.
Daz, I still need to re-spray my front front bumper and tidy up in general around the whole car but im just holding off as im still thinking of a colour change, i was thinking either black or white with a high gloss clear coat over the top.
