My new wheels
Hi guys,
Picked these up yesterday
17\" ENKEI RPF1 resprayed in Hyper Black...it's like black with a bit of silver and Bridgestone RE001 215/40/17.
I wish I got proper scale to weigh and compared them to my old Lenso DC5 with Falken 452 (205/40/17). But I can feel significant difference by just picking them up. The difference in rims weight is only around 1.3 KG each, so I would assumed that the wider Bridestone RE001 is lighter tyre than Falken 452?
Must say Falken 452 sidewall looks better tho' they are a lot more squarer...but hei, these will grip better

Doh!
Just going on a wee bit of a tangent, I stumbled across 2 sets, not long ago on The Trading Post, (from 2 differen sellers) of OZ F1 wheels. I think they were 15's or 16's and in very good condition.
They are a similar design to these Enkei's but they were CHEAP! The sellers were only selling them for $500! with half-worn decent tyres.
Do OZ's loose alot of value upon resale?

Okay guys...pics will be up very soon .
My friend borrowed my cam for the long weekend here in Melb
BTW FYI...when I took my old Lenso DC5 to the \"Pack N Send\" yesterday. It weigh 17.45 KG with full 36PSI air in it. Im damn curious now, so Im going to get scales tomorrow
1red5, OZ is a very good brand as well...all second hand rims loses it value quite considerably...unless its very rare.
