Water in my pannels
I started a topic on here earlier this yr when i 1st got my 5 and that was that there is a gushing sound of water when i accelorate or break, this seams to be only on the passenger side.
From what i can figure out it either comes in at the front of the door and into the chasis or where the roof meets the rear pannel and near the top of the door.
Is this correct and has anyone else had or got this prob

It could be getting past your window seal.
There are small drain holes in the bottom of the door which you can unbung to let the water out. I had this prob with the heavy rain we had a few months back, but now the holes are cleared I am slosh-free.

Check the softop drains near the seatbelt towers for blockages. That will stop water getting into the sills in the first place. You will still need to clear the drains in the sill like lowmiata suggested to drain the water thats in there now.

Oh yes, now I remember. The holes I un-bunged were in the body, not in the door.

but its still a good idea to make sure your door holes are empty to as the water that runs down your window goes out these holes at the bottom
and for a door its usually where the rust starts, you only have to look at the next kingswood that goes past to see what happens!

Not only that, but water in your doors can ruin your speakers too.
Don't ask me how I know that.

When in a carpark once, I noticed a swooshing sound when opening the doors of a friend's 323. "Did you hear that?"
Me, thinking that somehow water is trapped in the door, checks the drain holes. Some monkey had stuck some bits of foam there to seal them up!?
I yanked the foam and water dribbled out for a good 5min

Ok ive checked under the door and its all clean, but i have noticed that on the scuff pannels after a rain there is water sitting there on both sides of the car,(only the passenger side is getting the swoshing sound)
i had a look under the car(back it up onto a gutter) and found that the hole under ther car was clear, i think im looking in the right place?
Couldnt see a hole in the rear where it could drain from?
Any other suggestions, i know this is asking alot but if some could show me where the drian holes are that would be great!

Here is a link to an early service bulletin for the drain holes. It includes a diagram that should help you. Included in the link is a futher link to some photos, as shown below.
