I didn't get the side indicator garnish on the NC and having seen it later, I regret not getting it. I noticed them on ebay and was thinking of getting them. Do you imagine any issue would result with me gluing them on myself in so far as issues with replacing globes down the track. Would the fitment of the metal ring be independent of the removal of the light fitting? I just dont want to bugger it up for future.

$114 for a bit of chrome trim!!!!!!!!
Why dont you get some clear ones instead? My clear ones have chrome surrounds and they were about 1/3 the cost of those Mazda ripoffs. 6years down the track and the chrome still looks like new.
If you really like the orange ones I think IL Motorsport in Germany sells the chrome trim piece. You might find them better value than Mazda's effort.

No no, I'm getting cheap ones on Ebay, so price is not the problem. Sorry I'm confusing the issue by posting the mazda piccy. The problem is if a globe needs to be replaced down the track, are they easy enough to get off to replace. Will my gluing the rings on make that difficutl later? thats my question.

The standard indicators have a little cutout on the rear edge to enable you to poke a screw driver in to depress the clip to get the light out. If the new ring doesn't cover up that cutout then you wont have a problem. Even if it did you could probably still fit a fine screwdriver or knife in there to release the clip.
