Tein SS ticking sound

Postby Schultzy » Sat Nov 03, 2007 5:23 pm

g'day all just noticed a strange ticking sound coming from my SS's when i push down on the car :? has anyone else experienced this ?
I was warned against getting them in the first place as this problem has apparantly been an issue but no one seems to want to share exactly what it is...

Any idea would be great, as i cant get the car into fulcrum for another 3-4 weeks :(

Cheers

How long has it been on the car and is it Aus spec or Jap spec?

I'm also curious to know as to who told you about this apparent problem as well.

they are the aussie ones.

random friends have had the problem on their hondas and also on an S14. i went ahead and purchased them anyway, as they have a warranty and are legal. no complaints other than that, they feel awesome and i would recommend them to anybody :)

Was simply seeing if anyone had an idea as to what the cause could be and what can be improved on them/repaired

oh, and have only been on the car for about 2-3 months
