Painting Brake Calipers

Postby FoxForceFive » Thu Nov 01, 2007 7:24 pm

Since Super cheap has a sale on, i thought it might be a good excuse to paint my calipers....What colours have other people used? Im thinking silver or black, but blue or red is temping...Not sure if it would look over the top though against the Laguna blue.
Any tips? Would love to see some pics too!

if i were you i would go blue with white letters

similar to what i did with black yellow.

either that or blue letters on white would look pretty classy..

if you want to just paint them a straight colour try to keep it in with the res tof the car.. dont paint the gold like brembo :D

got a pic of the car?? what wheels you running?

How did you paint the letters? I mean, can you actually buy high-temp paint in a tin as opposed to a spray can? Or did you have to spray into a puddle then brush on?

that looks fantastic irwin83r!

do you have to wash your calipers to keep all the brake dust at bay?
