Are you using the stock injectors? Sounds like you are and with what your describing there not upto the task. The stock injectors are just under 270cc and there isnt much leway to push harder as they are already operating at 53-61 psi with the OEM fuel pump.

This thread might be helpful for you when it comes to sizing injectors for the SE.

If its not the injectors might also want to check fuel pump and fuel.

also does any ony know what the comp ratio is on the SE ?

On the same day/dyno a car that I am pretty sure was an SE made 94-96 rwkw.

I'm not sure if I was the only SE there that day, but I made 102. I can't recall an SE under 100, but may be wrong. One of the standard SPs only managed 108, but I think it wasn't very well. Techno reached around 130 from memory with the $2 mod on his SP.

Alf,

That must have been 2006?

My data from Techno only goes to 2005.

It looks as though the The Caulfield Jag Dyno(and Maztech from my experience) both Dyno Dynamics, do not give readings anywhere near as high as some that the interstate clubs are using.

Before I get a response about\"there are differences between dyno's and days\" etc the data I have over 3 years (2004,4,5) really shows a consistent pattern for each type of MX and they are usually consistently lower(or more realistic?) than some others.

Standard Na'6As are around 58-60rwkw;NA8A's62-64,NB8A's65-66; NB8B's 70-72; Sp's 110-116.

Simon's bog stock SE made 101 kw

(It's now making more double that with 1bar and a mild tune)
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Which shows that Alf's figure is spot on.

Okibi, really interesting that the data from your day on dyno dynamics looks to be producing figures for standard cars in the same range as we get at Caulfield Jag.( taking into account what i thought in 2005 was an SE probably wasn't)-does anyone know what Shane Habererle's car is?

It seems 101rwkw is about it for a standard SE.

You're on the money. By that time most of the SE's will have loosened up. I reckon the figures that you were quoting might well have been for a fairly new, tight car. My bum dyno certainly recorded a marked gain after about 20,000 km on the car.

[quote="THE REAL BORIS"]My stock SE at ChipTorque ......... 107.8 rwkw 4th gear dynodynamics

The "pill" mod only ............................. a very peaky 116.5 rwkw 4th gear dynodynamics

Stock SE with Begi inlet elbow, ball/spring mbc @ the 10.5 psig max, FM downpipe, GFB bypass valve ............... 119.5 rwkw 3rd gear dynodynamics (4th would be a little better).

Boris,

The figures I am quoting are 5th gear in a 6 sp and 4th in a 5 sp,ie;1:1.

A 6 speed car that made 94rwkw in 5th made 96.8 in 4th.
