Have a look at how square the 205 sits on the rim. No bulge like a 15x7.

Here's some more 15x8s I've found. They weigh 5.85kg so they're not quite as lite as I'm after but dang, they're under half the price of the Work Eqip 03 (165USD vs 360+USD)

PURIS7 - Do ya reckon I'd get away with a 0 offset? I would have thought so butr then agin, I'm learing about all this as I go!

Yes indeed. Tony Bonanno who owns Valley Car Clinic is one of my good mates. I feel like the car and I have been there most Saturday's and some Sunday's this year.

ASE05, they are the wheels on my car in that shot. Here is one from the side, albeit in motion.

CAL: You got a still shot of 'em on the car?

Anyone have an idea of offset to run with a 15x8?

I took a heap at Wakefield, but on the film camera, so have to get them developed next week and scanned to post. Can sort of see them here: http://picasaweb.google.com/mx5racing/O ... 8948380082

I sort of made that comment with tongue in cheek because in actuality... I've only ever seen that rim on cars going for the drifter look (so that would be heavily flared wheelarches and/or tyres stretched over rims)

The other forum members would probably have a clearer idea but I'm pretty sure the MX5 wouldn't be able to take that low an offset

The look is to DIE for though...

no, no, no, no. NO!

THIS look is to die for........

15x8 +10 for the rear

Image

15x8 +25 for the front

And some other shots. I reckon ol' mate has dropped it a bit too much but you get the idea

I'm now thinkin' about 15x9 for the rear with a +25 running a 225/50/15 R spec tyre and a 15x8 +25 with a 205/50/15 R tyre. I have no idea if this set up will work or not so I'm throwin' the line out to yall fopr advice!

IMO, the rears on that car have \"too much\" dish. The dish on the fronts looks awesome, although I don't like the style of rim.

Are you sure the red NB has 15's? They look like 16's at least, far too big.

Cal, I'm suprised the 205 Semis fit 8's that nicely, I had 225/50/16 RE55's on 16x8's on my DR30 and they seemed to sit square, if not slightly stretched
