SM: These were taken with a Nikon D200. The panned shots were taking with a Nikkor 70-200 f/2.8 VR lens, and the front-on shots with a Sigma 120-300 f/2.8, sometimes with a 1.4x TC. The arty shot at the end was with a 17-55 f/2.8 DX. In terms of shutter speed, depending on the speed of the car and the type of wheels, when panning somewhere between 1/100 and 1/160 is good for most club categories, ISO as low as you can, and aperture = whatever is necessary for correct exposure. It's a trade-off: lower = better blur but less keepers. Hope that helps! :)

No probs. :) Here is some drift I shot earlier in the year, EXIF data should all be intact so you can see what settings were used.

Nice pics, although those cars seem a bit more rough than what I'm used to (picture 5) I'm a real newbie when it comes to photography so what program or how do I view the EXIF data

Sorry, it's not obvious with Gallery! On the main gallery pages, like this one, click on \"Photo Properties\" in the top right hand corner to view the EXIF data. :)
