Loch Stewart Extractors
Can anyone tell me if the loch stewart extractors are powder coated.
At $650, I would hope so.
Cheers

At $650 you're paying for solidity of construction and power gains, not bling
Ta:
Are the loch stewart extractors the best in your opinion, can certainly buy cheaper genie, x-force headers.
What sort of power gains from extractors.

No they're not, but powder coating would be toast (boom-tish

Best to get them ceramic coated with something like HPC - there used to be a mob in Brendale who did it (Jet-Fast Coatings??). I had my Lochie extractors and the factory heatshield HPC'd in silver - matched the polished plenum and camshaft cover nicely.

Thanks for that I will see if the Brendale mob are still in business.

Cheaper headers usually come from China where the wages and conditions aren't as high.
yep the are manufactured by CES

Just to annoy all the snotty fellow Mosmanites no doubt!

Well the loch extractors are sitting in my garage.
Once, i took the heat shield off my car, I noticed an extra pipe running from stock headers.
I, am going to have to remove same, which apparently is illegal, this pipe
as some effect on emissions.
Currently, adding several coats of heat resistant paint to headers.
Thanks for all the replies.
Cheers
