Yeah that seems to be the same with mine. The soft top seems to shake something godawful if it's down. I'll need to borrow a tonneau cover one day and see if it makes a difference.

I've had both of those rattles.

The latches have an adjuster in them to tighten them up. Easy 3 min fix, no tools required.

On my car the soft top started rattling even with the cover on it so my dodgey fix was to run a few wraps of fine fishing line around the hinge pins to fill up the play in the hinges. It was hard to get in but works a treat. In my car the hinge causing most of the rattling was the one at the top back just near your ear. Both sides were very loose when folded down It's amazing how much nicer the car is to drive without a rattly soft top.

Sometimes the foam/rubber block inside the latch cover is deteriorated or missing. This allows the latch covers to rattle when the roof is down with the latch covers closed.

Hmmm... will have to have a peek around on a free weekend (of which I have none for like the next month I don't think) to see whether or not I can get it all tighter.

That being said, I need to prove that the soft top is what's causing all the shake rattle and roll.
