Is it at about 105km/h metris?

It's a common MX5 problem caused by poor wheel balance and/or alignment.

An easy fix for someone with good machinery and knowledge of MX5s.

haha yeah your probably right boags..!

i never had the problem before i upgraded the rims and tyres... but then the alignment is all over the place so its likely more noticable with the wider rubber...

cheers

I cant think of what else might be causing it...

An out of round tyre or wheel or both? I had a wheel balance problem with some tyres on the NB. I went to several places to get them balanced but nothing worked. I took it to the boys at Spinning Wheel and they spun one of the tyres around on the rim and rebalanced it and all was fixed.
