I was going to make a late change from the S-Drives to the Bridgestones but was too late. I'm happy so far though, and at $150ea they were not hugely expensive.
*shameless plug mode* I'm selling a set of 14\" NA8 wheels with RT615's if you want to give them a go *end shameless plug mode*
another tyre choice

Thats odd the Goodyear rep seemed a little vague…
Yes you can tell the country of origin from the marking on the side wall… BUT it’s a little late when you have paid for them and they are fitted isn’t it?
Yep no matter where those Goodyears are made they are all good enough for Australian consumers. BUT he didn’t tell you that the Thai made tyres are so crap they can’t legally be sold in Europe.
If Goodyear can’t promise you a set of Eagle F1s made in Germany you might end up drawing a short straw and having to live with it.

I suggest not running at 28PSI. It's what I've been doing this past few weeks as an experiment, and it's been giving be worse fuel economy. I put them back up to 29PSI and just from looking at the rate the needle goes down it's already working out to me be more economical.
