Oil Caps

Hey guys..

just wondering are oil caps universal?.. eg would the following one fit the MX5

auction states \"Suits most Nissans from 1985 onwards\" this is not a branded nissan one its just generic.. so would this fit?

if oil caps were universal, the ad would not say \"fits MOST nissans\", would it? it would say \"fits all cars\".

you ned to find out the diameter of the cap, and the thread pattern, and see if it matches the '5. but there is a fair chance it might fit, sure.

Rotary ones seem to fit the MX5.
