Dave, thanks for organising a great run ! We thoroughly enjoyed the day.

Regards, Rob & Lani.

For those interested, I have posted pics from the day here http://mx5vic.smugmug.com/Other

You may notice that some pics have an artistic 'blur'... Someone forgot to put the ISO setting up for the co-pilot...

thanks for the photos rob.

i know i already said this, but we had a great time. my girlfreind really enjoyed herslef again, at her second club event.

it was funny , after lunch she kept bugging me to let her drive the car home, but as we didn't have any L plates i refused. so she ran into the shop and bought another set of L plates!

anyway i said ok maybe after the twisty bits i would let her drive. so i got thru the spur and a little way out of healesville, and the constant nagging got to me and i pulled over and gave in. she drove home from about half way between healesville and toolangi, thru whittlesea etc.

it was pretty cool watching her come to grips with twisty country roads, watching her confidence grow and she really started enjoying herself. it's funny that she is 28 and has only just gotten her L's, she never thought much about cars but she sure does love the mx5! of course, the turbo has a bit to do with that as well

you never know, we might have 2 mx5's in the garage soon :P . altho i think they would both have to be turbo charged   she can't get enough of the extra power

absolutely sam. i can't wait to let her loose on the skidpan. it should be pretty ...errr.... interesting to say the least!

i have the day off work today so i spent the morning doing most of the big burger run again, with a few extra bits thrown in for good measure. brilliant weather and no traffic today, so i had a ball. the only downside was that i didn't have any other mx5'ers to share the experience with.
