Hi guys,
Currently installing an NB type BD \"style bar\" to an NA8.
I downloaded the BDBDDD pdf and it's proven useful, however I am stuck here at the seatbelt end.
Pictures below will hopefully help explain what I'm talking about. There is a long spacer that sits the seatbelt mount high. However when you put the bar in - where do you put this spacer? If you put it below the bar looks wrong, and if you put it above it is too much of a spacer.
What is the go here?

In my car it wasn't one long spacer but a series of short ones and I just juggled them around until I got the 'bar sitting flush with the B pillar platform.

Looks like a non standard spacer to me - the oem ones are three pieces, one goes under the bar from memory to bring it flush to the mounting face, and one on top, you lose the smallest one IIRC due to the thickness of the bar's mounting plate. As the Comet said - mark it off with a texta and use a hacksaw to cut it to size - first section level with top of plastic panel, delete the bar's thickness and use the rest on top.
