Getting more bias to the rear of an NA6 definitely helps. You can use an aftermarket adjustable valve (Wilwood/Tilton) with the correct adaptors, or you can retrofit an NB valve (~$250) quite easily.
i'm hoping that by using slotted na6 rotors on the front, and na8 brakes on the back, i'll get more rear bias and overall better performance, and brake fade will no longer be a problem.
i'm no engineer (HINT HINT MATTY - I'D BE KEEN ON YOUR OPINION ) but it makes sense to me that the rears will now have more stopping power, given the same amount of pressure applied to the pedal. hence, more rear bias. i have no data to back this up, so i'll just have to wait and see. the na8 rears are sitting in the shed ready to go, i just haven;t got around to it yet.
also bruce, i have a master cylinder brace (also sitting in the shed) if you wanna have a look at it. i got it thru one of the famous "boags group buys" a few months ago, still haven't got around to fitting it yet
