that is very true.

i hope to keep this 5 for the next 3-4years and then upgrade to an SE depending.

would it be worth me buying all new suspension or should i buy some second hand SE shocks and springs. theyd be only 3yrs old at the most, would they have another 3-4yrs left in them?
is this a good idea?

ahaha im going off topic in my own topic... typical...

Well Im kinda in the same shoes as you I also have an MX5 with 130,000 km

Im planing to upgrade to Tein SS... In October you can get them with $215 cash back.

you can buy them now fit them in the mx5 now and later when you upgrade take them with you (they can be revalved and rebuilt etc)

Really? Didn't know that. I thought only Bilstein had revalving/rebuilding/regassing for their shocks?

konis \"adjustables\" are fully rebuildable as well. I use inverted commas because they are not REALLY adjustable. The adjustment just allows you to reset them when they wear a bit, effectively extending the life.

FOr the topic. I run koni/kings, and it is pretty harsh. I dont mind....my wife...not so keen.
