Clutch On the Floor

Postby EvilU » Sun Sep 09, 2007 9:34 pm

My cltuch peddle went to floor today with out disengaging the clutch. Actualy it happened a couple of time, and after each I am able to pump it up. Does this sound like the clutch slave cyclinder has done a seal?

Thanks

Yeah thats about what I figures. Realy shitty end to an awesome day. Had been playing on the Great Ocean Road, so many gear changes my left leg began to hurt, then when I finaly get back on a straight road this happens. Could have been worse, could have happened on the GOR itself

The problem is generally caused by corrosion in the slave cylinder due not flushing the hydraulic fluid every 18-24 months.
