I have used the targets as recommened by Flyin' Miata with their kits as a baseline. They used to have a copy of their tuning instructions on their website. Note that these are specific to a FM/Link ECU (which I have), which has a total of 5 settings depending on the kpa. Your requirements might be slightly different depending on what ECU/Piggy back/fueling tool you are using.

Also I belive that your AFR should not be based on fuel ecomomy, but rather ensuring you don't run lean and blow up the engine or run rich and limit your power. You will find she be more economical off boost anyway.....

Here is my afr targets (FM based) for each row pressure centre

29 kpa - 14.8
60 kpa - 14.7
100 kpa - 14.0
140 kpa - 12.5
180 kpa - 11.5
227 kpa - 10.5
