Ok fellas...the plan is that some of us will get there at about 6.30-6.45ish. Enter the carpark from the Oulton St entrance. You will see 2 lanes going down into the carpark, and one lane that goes up to Ikea.
Go down into the carpark, pass the boomgates, and take the 5th or 6th aisle to the right, and head down to the end. We should be in the row at the end.
These meets can be pretty big. so just cruise around and look for the row of parked MX5s.

What an awesome night! I couldn't believe how many cars kept coming and coming.
Big thumbs down for the attitude of the Rhodes car park security guard. What a cock! No one was doing anything stupid, and some of us were already buying food from the shopping centre. Oh well, it's their loss of business.
Big props to the security guards involved at Reading Cinemas! I did see them getting a little nervous a the traffic jam though
Nice to meet a few new faces and catch up with a few of the regulars. Might see you at the next one!

Sorry I didn't hear you call Matt - I was in aural overload at the Lansdowne pub when you called, and even found texting hard... Did you find the meet in the end or miss them altogether?
Had to laugh at the security gorilla at Rhodes accosting Benny and I - obviously thought we were the organisers cause we're old farts His opening was really conciliatory - "you've got 5 minutes to leave, I've already called the cops" Bloody rock apes, I really do wonder where they find them! Anyway, Rhodes can kiss my business goodbye - with that sort of attitude I'll go anywhere but there.

Bigdog, it was good to meet you at Rhodes and at the Mania dyno day again today. Really lovely car you have there.
I have to agree that Rhodes security people aren't the friendliest.
I was there again this morning to get some papers certified with the local JP, and some idiot security fellow said to me on my way into the Coles entrance - \"You know your kind are not welcomed here\"
I kept quiet and walked on, but I was saying to myself \"What have I ever done to that man's family to deserve this kind of attitude?\"
My car doesn't make any loud noise, I don't do skids, I obey the law and I don't drive like a lunatic

A couple of the Rhodes security guards were pretty friendly and understanding, and took the time to explain to me that they'd been told by Centre Management to kick us out, and hence if we didn't do so, then they would be in trouble.
Fair enough I said, we can't ask for more, and explained that the meet organiser was on his way and that we'd sort out an alternative venue when he arrived, that there were lots of ppl on their way, and that organising an alternative at such short notice was going to be hard.
Sadly, while some of the Rhodes security seemed to be quite approachable, some of them weren't. When we'd sorted out the whole meet going to Auburn, I went over to the security guys to basically say, no worries and no hard feelings, see you guys around, and the response was rather stony to say the least.
I work next to Rhodes and buy my lunch from there most days, but I too have an unwillingness to give them any more of my business...I don't think I've ever been treated like such a criminal. When I wandered over to see if I could offer an olive branch to the security, the response was \"The cops have been called, you gusy better leave.\"
Oh of course. I am a drug running child molester and hence have something to hide from the cops. Unbelievable.
