That sounded very much like my other MX5 at idle, but how is it at say over 1k rpm? drives fine but shakes abit at idle? even till now I can't work out what it was, possibly idle speed controller (ISC) faulty...too little/much air and ECU trying to correct that's why you get the oscillation? whatever it is that's causing the ECU to correct hence over correct and so oscillation...O2 sensor?, something in the intake path/loop/circuit? vacuum hoses?...rough timing? Mind boggling
