The assessor at shannons agreed with Hume Smash, that the wheel needed replacing. Any other insurance company would of just mashined and repainted it....Hume are keeping the old wheel for me, so I'll be doing just

I thought they were more than that... :?: Is that price from Mazda?

Sucks about the damage, I'm glad there were no dramas with the insurance co. too!.

Can't wait to see this beast... 8)

Yep that price is from mazda. Mania have them listed on their website at $415....I wonder how old that price is. There was some issues with insurance, in that the insurance company of dad's (work provided) car wouldnt pay shannons initially, but thats since been sorted. I cant wait for it to be back though....the weather is beautiful, and ive been stuck driving an aurian (dads work car) for the past 2 weeks. Having said that, the thing has nearly 200kw (from memory), and being FWD, does some wicked burnouts haha

Good luck for Friday !

Would love to see a shot of your TiSE when you get it back, complete with the wheels.
I heard (from a dealer) that there were only 25 Titanium SE's brought out, don't know if that's true but hope to get more info on it.

Well the damage was worse than Hume Smash thought. Not only was there panel damage, but the lower and upper control arms were bent slightly, so they've gotta be replaced aswel. Currently hoping to pick it up on tuesday

25 of the 2005 model with the upgraded wheels, but plenty of the earlier ones out there.

I prefer the look of the Racing Hart wheels anyway. Well I picked the car up yesterday....man it feels good to be behind the wheel again. I ended up getting 2 new front tyres, because they had 'flat spots' on them, so although their these toyo trampios, they're better than the silverstones it had on the front before...The old wheel is now in my shed, and one day will be repaired, but until then stands as a reminder - dont park opposite driveways...
