diffrent paints on diffrent surfaces?

i was curious, are there any side effects to using something like touch up paint on plastic trim? plastic/vinyl paint have dull colours

Nope. My centre console is painted with automotive paint. I just used a plastic primer underneath.

sweet as, did u sand, then prime then sand then prime then paint etc?

That's pretty much about it. Although I was sick of sanding by the end and didn't put in the greatest effort

at the moment my centre console is gloss black.
i sanded the plastic, sprayed it with plastic primer, waited 10 minutes then sprayed the gloss black.
you could then sand the top coat & spray it with a clear coat if you wanted.

yeah i painted my trim earlyer in the year, but all i did was use wax and grease remover and paint ... stupid idea

will give it a crack with a better colour :)
