6x9's anyone?

Postby mikfox » Wed Aug 29, 2007 1:55 am

I was just wondering if anyone has found a effective place to install some 6x9's in their Nbs.

Thanks

I had 6x9's in my parcel shelf but replaced with with 8\" 3 ways (much much much better)

Put some 8\" speakers in the doors first, then work on rear speakers if you can be bothered.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

I'm going to try and parcel shelf my 6x9's at the next Sydney dodgy day (pending hangover from a mates' buck's night the night before). Currently my 6x9's are sitting in the boxes in the boot, which is from my old car.

I did but u lose a bit of room depending on if you have a rollbar or not, without a rollbar i'm sure you could make something similar to mine that sits further back

If you could be bothered rebuilding it, you could even try and put it behind the BD bar. That way you could secure it to the bar itself so you wouldn't need that strappy thing.

if i put it behind the BD bar then I wouldn't be able to put the top down because that needs about 9cm clearance from the BD bar, I already looked into this

Bugger eh? Oh well. Still tidy nonetheless. After seeing this windblocker and your fibreglassing work in the boot, I really wanna check out the audio in your car now :P
You going to be at the Mania dyno day?

That wouldn't be worth any amount of time, let alone the amount it would actually take. You'd only hear bass. Everything else would just fire into the air, especially with your seats blocking the direct line between the speakers and your ears.

Why not put the bar to good use and fix some speakers to it
