I am looking to get my nb8a seats leather retrimmed in Sydney. Does anyone know approximately how much this would cost and where i can get it done reliably?

If you are a member of the NSW MX-5 Club, you can get the seats done for $800 fitted etc.

Otherwise, you'll be paying a bit more.
Whereabouts in Sydney are you?

Blackmans at Taren Point and Doyles at Auburn will do the job for about $1,100. This includes full leather front and back and the door inserts to match. Best to check out both places (and any other trimmer) as they have different colour tones in their leather stock.
Another thing to remember is that if you want perforated leather, it needs to be sent to Melbourne to have this work done. I’d recommend it to stop you sliding around in the corners.
Time wise it takes about 2 days for standard leather and 4 days for perforated.
