That when you're having a browse through the forums you make a bit of a mental note of when topics come up and where they are located.....

Just to edit my response too - it varies from car to car, and application to application.

I used to use castrol magnatec preturbo - which reminds me - Jules - do you want a small bottle to keep in the boot for top ups???

Now I've gone turbo I use castrol Edge 5W30.

Others will recommend Mobil 1, or Shell Synthetic, or whatever.....

So it varies....
