I've read these are very good value tyres.
Now my dilema is I can't find where they stock them in melbourne.
Anyone know??
Where to get Nankang ns2's in melb??

These are NOT good value tyres.
They have lasted me about 10,000klms, and have been average, to say the least, while I have had them. Dry grip is predictable, but predictably not very good.
Steer clear. They are dangerous in the wet: zero grip.

Used to have this tyres on my 1.8 Holde Astra (your typical suburban shopping trolley). The car used to do occacional whellspin on NORMAL take off from traffic stop in the wet. Let me emphasize the word NORMAL. This tyres are so slippery in wet cond...its scary!
Id say get Falken, not their bottom of the range stuff like 326 or 329...they are as bad as NangKang. Get FK452, it's around $180 per corner for 17\" and it's very good tyres for the price.

Thanks guys.... the reason I was considering the nankangs was due to the praise I've read about the NS2's and they are cheap.... I'm getting 19x235's so even the cheapest tyres we're talking 230 a piece.
After a lot of calling around I'm gonna get some yokohama V103's which retail for over $550 a corner but bob jane has them on special for $295

i'm a bit worried with how my 5 drives. it definitely needs new tyres because the previous owner never rotated the wheels around so the steering cranks a bit to the right, so i need a wheel alignment. but is it normal for the steering wheel to vibrate a bit? do i need a wheel balance or are most mx5's like that?
this is what i found from the bob jane website:
http://www.bobjane.com.au/Services/WheelBalancing.asp
thanks guys
