No...the bottom bit below that lip has some little indentations in it, so that it'll fit snugly.

Umm....ok maybe not.

It was not all smooth sailing however. At the front, part of the caliper bracket fouled the inside of the wheel spokes, so I had to use a 5mm spacer (tried a 3mm spacer but it wasn't enough).

The problem, as you can see, is that quite a bit of the spacer pokes out. So only the inner \"ring\" of the spacer contacts the hub of the wheel. This is purely because the centre of the wheel is such a small diameter.

So I think they look awesome, everything I wanted, however I am concerned about the fact that the front wheels are only connected to the hub by a thin strip of spacer. I'll look into whether smaller diameter (or solid) spacers exist, I think something like that would be a good idea before we get too crazy driving the car :D

But sheeit....looks ok.

Nice One! When using spacers the critical thing is the amount of threaded wheel stud in the nut - Scrutineers usually want to see the thread either protruding from the nut or at least 75% of the way in - any less and you really are at risk of breakages. I only mention it because I couldn't spot the stud in your pics...

Oh ya, I'm not so keen on the arrangement at the front, so I haven't dríven the car yet.

So today's mission will be to track down a set of something like this, that is solid, and goes all the way into the hubcentric ring (whereas the cheapy spacers are just a narrow ring around the studs):

The H&R spacers are optional with longer wheelstuds so I think something like that is in order.
