Instrument cluster removal

Hi all
have just aquired a lovely s/s instrument bezel (surround) and need info on how to remove dash etc to instal.
Tried a search but to no avail.
Any help greatly appreciated. For a 2002 NB8B

1) Remove the 2 screws from the underside of the steering column shroud.
2) Seperate and remove steering coloumn shroud
3) Grad the \"hood\" of the instrument cluster and give it a few very firm tugs. After the initial \"pop\" remove the hood carefully
4) There are 4 screws that hold in the actual instrument cluster. Undo them and the cluster comes off.

This is as far as what i've needed to go. It seems there are many tabs around the cluster that need to be popped off to take the clear plastic face off.

Be very careful getting the clear plastic lens window off. Use a hairdryer if you need to. They can crack.

i bekieve that there are two types....one where the plastic cover is glued on and the other is attached by tangs....is the NB8B a \"tang\"version?

Never heard of a tang before, but I think our cars have them (if you mean the plastic tabs).

It literally takes less than 5 minutes to do thos steps above so your best bet is to take it out and have a look yourself.

That didn't come standard with MY car! I just got a shitty tasting coffee from the dealer!
