185/60-14, can't remember what model tyres but the forum fellas recommended Bridgey G-something and Yoko something or other in the what-tyre thread.

Yeah, Bridgy GIII and Yokie C-Drives. Both very much street tyres but Bridgeys marginally better on the odd track day, Yokies marginally better on the road.

The way I see it, grip = fast, no-grip = drift.

It's for the road....because the actual *car* is for the road :D

If I was that worried about absolute grip, I'd aim a little higher than 185/60-14s :)
