Next track day is 11 Sep 07. :D Get your RDO organised.

If you haven't been to one you really should give it a go. You can run at your own pace and passing is only allowed on the straights. There are some experienced MX-5 race car drivers there too who will be very happy to go with you if you want someone to give you some clues on lines/gears/speeds etc.

It is not \"racing\" and is probably less harmful to your car than stop/start traffic. 8) Whatever, it's a blast.

I'll add my thanks to the chorus. A most enjoyable and challenging afternoon and nothing fell off the car which was a bonus. I am sure I will be back as soon as I can afford some better tyres.

Yes. It was an interesting view, although I think the back end had lost traction even before the apex. I was watching a slow slide start just after you entered the corner.

Yea I think i tried to pull it in a bit to fast when I realised I wasn't heading for the apex, never mind, I still had a blast, and no damage done, only a bit of dirt on the car, it sure did make a dust storm. Bet it looked interesting from your angle :D

It is down as the 11th on the main events page of the club site but the 21st on the yearly calendar?

Yeah I noticed that, I was wondering what changed from the last track day. Must have got it set up better by the end of the day too, bloody quick on the sprint.

And there was an NA6 in front of him... And in front of the NC with semis. How the hell did you do that, Tim??? Was it consistent throughout the day?

Tim seemed to be efficient in retrieving the timing sheets and losing $20 bills whilst he was up there..... 8)
Went for a drive and there were slow cars everywhere, why are NC's so common . . . must be NC = Normally Cardiganed.

I didn't get a look at many of the times but I think I was fairly consistant when not being held up or getting too sideways :D
