Honestly, a couple of Albums worth is plenty for a week at a time, and I don't listen to MP3's other than in the car or home.

Hmm, $50 USB stick which will plug into any PC and accept any format your headunit will, or an iPod to dangle around, make a mount for and worry about getting stolen. Easy choice! Suffice to say, if something happens to my current headunit (A JVC unit with a CD player thta is MP3 capable) then I'll replace it with a USB-capable headunit.

...Yes, but... with an iPod you can also watch movies as you drive along.
